What do you think? The 5th and 6th Prairie Valley Elementary Students worked very hard and showed how creative they could be when designing their carnival masks. The 5th graders investigated Mardis Gras and fashioned their masks with that in mind. The 6th graders investigated a festival from the Bahamas called Junkanoo. They used cardboard, crepe paper, feathers, glitter, and anything else they could find or bring in from home. Both classes got to show off their creations during a school wide Fall Festival.
